Welcome to Wafiugarden (www.wafiugarden.com), a fan community for anime and cosplay, run by Steve Phipps, operating Wafiugarden ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Main site: all ages. 18+ Area (coming soon): adults only, suggestive but no nudity. The 18+ Area isn't open yet. Pornography and nudity are banned for all users, everywhere on the site.

1. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.

• Give accurate details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.

• One person per account. Don't impersonate anyone else, including other creators or cosplayers.

• You can delete your account at any time. Email admin@wafiugarden.com if you need help.

2. Community rules

Wafiugarden is meant to be friendly and welcoming. When you post, comment or take part in groups and events, you must follow these rules and our Content Rules, which explain in more detail what you can post and where:

1. Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, doxxing or targeted abuse, including body-shaming cosplayers.

2. No pornography or nudity, ever. Pornography, nudity and sexually explicit content are banned for all users, everywhere on the site, including the 18+ Area. No graphic gore either.

3. Keep the main site all ages. No sexual or suggestive content on the main site, including in avatars, profile pictures, banners and captions. Suggestive content will only be allowed in the 18+ Area once it opens, and only as the Content Rules allow.

4. Absolutely no sexual or suggestive content involving anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18. This includes drawn, animated and AI-generated characters, whatever their stated age in canon or "lore". We'll remove it, close the account and report it where the law requires.

5. Respect creators. Only post work you made or have permission to share. Always credit artists, photographers and cosplayers, and don't remove watermarks.

6. Get permission for photos of others. Before posting a photo of another cosplayer, you must have permission from the person pictured and from the photographer.

7. No spam. No unsolicited advertising, affiliate spam, scams, chain messages or bots.

8. Nothing illegal or harmful. No malware, piracy links, or leaked or stolen content.

9. Protect privacy. Don't share anyone's personal information without their consent.

3. Your content

• You keep ownership of everything you post.

• By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and resize your content on Wafiugarden, only so the site can work. We don't reshare members' content on social media or elsewhere.

• This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, although backup copies may take a short time to be removed.

• You confirm that you have the rights to what you post and that it follows these terms.

4. Moderation

We may remove content, or suspend or close accounts, that break these rules or the law, or that put the community at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why. If you think we've made a mistake, you can appeal by emailing admin@wafiugarden.com.

Copyright concerns: if you think content on the site infringes your rights, email admin@wafiugarden.com with a link and details, and we'll look into it promptly.

4A. How we protect children

Wafiugarden is open to anyone aged 13 or over, so we take extra care to keep younger members safe.

• Minimum age: you must be 13 or older to join. If we learn that someone under 13 has an account, we'll delete it.

• All-ages main site: the main site is for all ages. Pornography and nudity are banned for everyone, everywhere on the site. The 18+ Area isn't open yet, and when it opens it will be for approved adult members only.

• Content Rules: our Content Rules set out what's allowed and where.

• Moderation and quick takedown: we review reports and remove harmful content quickly. We may suspend or close accounts that put others at risk.

• Reporting and complaints: anyone can report content or a member using the form on our Safety & Reporting page, or by emailing admin@wafiugarden.com. That page also explains our complaints process, including how to appeal a decision.

• Named responsible person: Steve Phipps is responsible for safety and moderation on Wafiugarden. Contact: admin@wafiugarden.com.

• Zero tolerance: no sexual or suggestive content involving anyone who is, or appears to be, under 18 is allowed, whether it's a real person or a drawn, animated or AI-generated character. We remove it immediately, ban the account and report it to the authorities where the law requires.

5. Events

Event details, including dates, times (UK time unless stated) and links, may change. We'll try to let registered attendees know about any changes. Online events may use third-party platforms that have their own terms.

6. Donations

Donations are voluntary and help cover the costs of running Wafiugarden. You don't receive goods, services or special status in return. Donations are processed securely through Wix Payments and its payment partners. They are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund (for example, if a payment was unauthorised or made by mistake). If something has gone wrong, email admin@wafiugarden.com.

7. Paid features

Wafiugarden doesn't currently offer any paid plans or features. If we introduce any, their terms, price and any cancellation rights will be shown clearly at checkout before you pay. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Disclaimers

Wafiugarden is a hobby project, provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Members' views are their own. Links to other sites are provided for convenience, and we're not responsible for their content.

9. Our liability

• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

• We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. The site is for personal, non-commercial use.

• Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £50 or the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll let members know by email or with a notice on the site. By continuing to use the site after that, you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
